As Chair for the U.C. Santa Cruz STEM Post-Doc Association, I held workshops and trainings to help students and post-docs successfully navigate the journey from academia to industry. To effectively support those I was leading, I inundated myself in learning the process of how to get a job in an industry and that has led to a wealth of knowledge I've continued to share as I've counseled hundreds of others since that time. I've also gone on to give talks at STEM conferences and programs at universities for how to navigate the job hunting process.
